Mic Meimaroglou got into electronic music young, drawn to the physicality of analog gear and modular synthesis.
He released his first tracks in 2010 under the name Aithale, working the space between electronica and techno’s drive. By 2014 he had a steady stream of releases out on underground labels including 808 Recordings, Ntrop Recordings, and DMR Digital Italy, and his work started getting picked up by outlets like BeatSelector, 5 Magazine, Electronic Groove, The Letter, mic.gr, and beater.gr.
In 2017 he founded USM Recordings, aiming to build a stronger connection between Greece’s electronic scene and the wider underground. In 2023 he launched ΣΥΝTHESIS, a collective and platform based on Lesvos focused on underground club culture — club nights, workshops, masterclasses. Since then he’s kept releasing hypnotic, mental techno internationally — including on Portugal’s Trau-ma Records and, most recently, a full-length on Spain’s Diffuse Reality Records.
In 2023, together with Konstantinos Sitaras (AgainstMe), he co-founded Undefined Shapes, an international event bringing artists like Justine Perry, Paula Koski, and Red Rooms to Greece. That same year, his debut vinyl on USM, “Planet 381” (a collaboration with AgainstMe), picked up support from Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, and Marcel Dettmann.
His DJ sets lean into groove, tension, and atmosphere — modular-rooted techno with a trippy, hypnotic, and immersive edge.
